PT Geometri Indonesia built the GRID application as an attendance application for employees and users who need to record work attendance using selfie verification and location validation.

This Privacy Policy explains how GRID collects, uses, stores, protects, and manages user data when using the application.

GRID only collects data required for attendance recording and verification purposes. The data collected may include:

• Employee Name, used to identify the user who performs attendance.
• Attendance Selfie Photo, used as visual proof that the attendance was performed by the correct user.
• GPS Location During Attendance, used to validate the location of the user when performing check-in or check-out.
• Attendance Date and Time, used to record when the user performs attendance.
• Account and Login Data, used to allow users to securely access the application.

GRID does not collect unnecessary personal data beyond what is required for attendance functionality.

3. Camera Usage

GRID uses the device camera only for attendance selfie purposes.

The camera is used when the user intentionally takes a selfie by pressing the attendance button. GRID does not take photos automatically without user action.

The selfie photo is stored on our private server and may be used by authorized administrators for manual attendance verification.

GRID does not use the camera for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

4. Location Usage

GRID uses device location only when the user performs attendance.

Location data is collected to validate whether the user is at the correct attendance location at the time of check-in or check-out.

• GRID does not track user location continuously.
• GRID does not collect location data in the background.
• GRID does not access location when the user is not performing attendance.

The collected location data may include latitude and longitude coordinates at the time of attendance.

The collected data is used for the following purposes:

• To record employee attendance.
• To verify attendance through selfie photos.
• To validate attendance location.
• To display attendance history.
• To assist administrators or HR teams in monitoring attendance.
• To secure user accounts and application access.
• To support audit and operational needs related to attendance.
• To improve application reliability and support.

Attendance data, selfie photos, and GPS location data are stored on our own server.

Selfie photos are stored privately and are not publicly accessible.

• We do not use third-party analytics services.
• We do not sell user data.
• We do not share user data with unrelated third parties.

GRID may use Firebase Cloud Messaging, or FCM, only for sending application notifications to users. FCM is not used by GRID for advertising or analytics purposes.

GRID does not sell, rent, or trade user personal data.

User data is not shared with unrelated third parties.

Attendance data may only be accessed by authorized personnel, such as company administrators, HR staff, or system administrators, based on their role and access rights in the application.

We apply reasonable security measures to protect user data, including:

• HTTPS connection for data transmission.
• Login authentication for application access.
• Password hashing.
• Role-based access control.
• Server-side data protection.
• Private file storage for selfie photos.
• Database backup procedures.

Although we apply security measures, no electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure. However, we make reasonable efforts to protect user data from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

9. Data Retention

User attendance data is retained as long as the user remains an employee or active user of the company.

Data may also be retained as long as required for administrative, legal, audit, or operational purposes.

When the user is no longer an employee or no longer uses the application, the user may request deletion of their account and associated data.

Users may request account deletion directly from the application through the Profile menu.

When a deletion request is submitted, we will process the request and delete or anonymize the user account and related personal data, unless the data must be retained for legal, audit, or legitimate business requirements.

GRID is intended for work attendance purposes and is not intended for children or users under the legal working age.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Permissions Used by the Application

GRID may request the following permissions:

• Camera Permission
  Used to take selfie photos for attendance verification.
• Location Permission
  Used to capture the user’s location only when performing attendance.
• Internet Permission
  Used to send and receive attendance data from the server.
• Notification Permission
  Used to send attendance-related or application-related notifications.

These permissions are used only for application functionality and not for advertising, profiling, or unrelated tracking.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in application features, legal requirements, or operational practices.

Any changes will be posted through the application or other official communication channels.
